York’s Chocolate Story is a visitor attraction and chocolate museum on King’s Square, in York. Opened in March 2012, it shows the history of chocolate making in York, including the Rowntree’s factory which opened in 1890, owned since 1988 by Nestlé.

The Yorkshire Air Museum & Allied Air Forces Memorial is an aviation museum in Elvington, York, England, on the site of the former RAF Elvington airfield, a Second World War RAF Bomber Command station. The museum was founded, and first opened to the public, in the mid 1980s.

Eden Camp

Eden Camp Modern History Museum is a large Second World War-related museum near Malton in North Yorkshire in England. It occupies a former Second World War prisoner-of-war camp of 33 huts. After the prisoners left, the camp was used for storage and then abandoned. Its grounds then became overgrown.
